The Proteome Center Rostock conducts clinical proteome research projects in an interdisciplinary fashion between clinical groups and life-science specialists.

The Proteome Center Rostock undergoes numerous collaborations with partners from all around the world with both, clinical and method development focus and with wet-lab and dry-lab experience, respectively.

Proteome Research requires ample state-of-the-art experimental techniques for protein identification and validation as well as for detailed protein structure and structure-/function characterization.

For in-depth data analysis and mining a toolbox of bioinformatic and systems biology-related methods has been assembled to assist the investigator.

2D gels are a rich source for proteome research approaches and their generation at the Proteome Center Rostock is closely following in-house SOPs accompanied by rigid quality assessment measures.
